New on the Secret Woods Website - A complete copy of the neighborhood by-laws are now available. Just click on the hyperlink titled Coventants/By-laws in the navigation rail.

The Secret Woods neighborhood board met Wednesday, May 1. Board President Joe Miller said he will post the official minutes on our Website as soon as time permits. In the meantime here are some highlights from the meeting:

- Proxies and annual dues will be mailed out by May 6. Annual dues are $250.

- A date for the annual homeowners' meeting has been set. It will be May 28. Watch the Website and neighborhood bulletin board for details. 

- The board discussed the possiblity of installing speed bumps in the neighborhood to cut down on speeders that put our children at risk. Joe Miller checked with the city to determine various options. He said one option would be to apply for funding through the Better Jacksonville Plan. If the neighborhood qualified each speed bump would cost $750 dollars. If not, the cost would be $1,400 per speed bump. No decisions were made concerning the speed bumps. 

- The light at the back entrance has been fixed by Bob Sams. 

- The pool area has been pressure washed by Bob Sams. - The board discussed problems with people from outside the neighborhood accessing the pool. - It was also noted that someone has broken the light covers at the neighborhood mailboxes. Estimates on replacement covers will be obtained.
