Neighborhood News Date: Nov. 25, 2006 Apartment complex hearing scheduled An informational meeting has been organized by Council Woman Suzanne Jenkins, District 4 at the Cube Hunter Park Community Center, 3620 Bedford Road, Monday, December 4, 2006 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to discuss a proposed apartment complex on Belfort Road. Date: Sept. 22, 2006 First amendment in the history of Secret Woods passes 95 homeowners have voted in favor of increasing the initial capital contribution fee (initiation fee) from $100 to $800. Article IV, Section I (pdf document)Date: August 26, 2006  Lawyers, covenants and sheds The Secret Woods board reports an attorney is being consulted on how to deal with neighborhood shed covenant violations. Vandalism, pool upgrades and lawn maintenance were also topics at the August board meeting. Get the full story here. Date: May 13, 2006New board elected, homeowners propose raising initiation fee May 8 on your calendars The 2006 annual homeowners meeting resulted in a proposal to raise the initiation fee for new homeowners to $800 dollars. Good friends, good food and good neighbors added up to plenty of fun at the
Secret Woods Chili Cook-off held Sunday afternoon, after some rain on Saturday
forced a one day delay. The chilly weather
provided the perfect back-drop for some hot chili. As you can see from the
picture and video, the cook-off was very well attended. Congratulations to the
winners and a big thank you goes to all the block captains and volunteers who
made this event such a success.
