	Neighborhood News Date: November 13, 2010 Holiday season preparations underway The Secret Woods board has announced the annual Secret Woods luminaries night will be held December 18. Read the November minutes for the details. Date: Oct. 16, 2010 Annual chili cook-off announced Dust off those secret recipes because the date for the annual Secret Woods Chili Cook-off has been announced. Read the details and get all the neighborhood news in the September board minutes. The October board minutes have also been posted. Date: July 15, 2010 Board president recommends switching pond maintenance companies At the July meeting the board discussed moving pond maintenance from Harrison Environmental to the Lake Doctors. Some neighborhood construction and infraction letters were also discussed. Read it all in the July minutes. Date: May 8, 2010 Annual meeting news City Councilman Don Redmond was among those in attendance at the 2010 annual meeting of Secret Woods homeowners. A wide range of topics ranging from a possible one time assessment to a new pocket park were discussed. Read it all in the May minutes. Date: April 17, 2010 Mark your calendars for the annual homeowners meeting On the heels of a fun luau and poolhouse bathroom remodel is the annual homeowners meeting. It's May 3 at 7pm at Southpoint Baptist Church. Read more in this month's minutes and be sure to attend. It's your neighborhood. Get involved. Date: March 13, 2010 Get ready for the luau and check your neighbor's times Several residents from Secret Woods ran in the 2010 Gate River Run. You can check times here. Be sure to mark March 27th down on your calendar. We'll be having a luau to welcome spring at the pool. Get the details in the March minutes. Date: Feb. 13, 2010 Plans for spring luau announced Although it may not feel like it, it's not too early to start thinking about spring. Plans are underway for a poolside luau. Read about it in the February minutes. Date: Jan. 9, 2010 2009 Christmas display winners announced Congratulations to the Derek Hood and his family for winning 1st place in the Creative Christmas category and to Bob and Sally Feely for winning 1st place in the Traditional Category. Date: November 21, 2010 Dan and Laurie Flynn won first place in the 2009 chili cook-off but they had plenty of stiff competition and the deserts were certainly winners as well.
