Date: January 8, 2013
Board Members Present: David Theus, Ross Thompson, Rob Hagen,, Jamie Montgomery, Mark Lemmenes and Dan Flynn. Gary Basset was present.
Order of Business: Quorum certified and meeting called to order. Minutes from November and December entered and approved. Financials read and approved. Discussion on expenditures for the remaining portion of the fiscal year occurred.
Old Business: Pool maintenance: Ross. Work is now in progress. Pool work signs will be put up by Ross.
Pool House: Dan. Gutters and new roof are complete! Great job Dan!!!Tennis Court: Dan. Repairs will start soon. Once new material and other work are finished the court will need 48 hours of good weather to properly set-up. Board agreed to delay work until end of February or first of March to ensure better weather and sun. Allotted $6,500, this includes additional wind screens which were $400 more. Still within budget. Thank you Marianne and Dan.
Fence Repairs: Rob. Still pending. Rob will try to contact this week.
Pool House Lighting: Ross. In process of rewiring to manage repairs. Approved by board with no money required at this time.New Pool Key Project: Dan. Received 5 bids, all of which were discussed. Also discussed the need for tennis court to be controlled. Item tabled until April meeting and to wait until new budget year.
New Business
New Letters for Sign Boards: Byron and David. We need to purchase new aluminum letters for the sign boards. The plastic ones don’t last and break easily. Byron has received bids. Motioned and seconded to approve purchase. Budgeted #550. Thanks Byron!
Annual Dues: After discussion, it was determined that at this time the amount of dues we collect will fund our current budget. Annual letter will request residents to update their information.
Christmas Decorations Award signs: Dave. We need one additional sign for “3rd place Creative”. Move and seconded to purchase sign. Budgeted $50.
Violations: David. Discussed continuing situation on Misty Creek. Several letters have been sent in the past by two different boards, also the city has cited the lot twice for yard concerns. We are continuing our procedures including contact with our neighborhood attorney to resolve these issues.
Annual Meeting: David. Suggested Monday May 13th at 7:00. Also to donate $100 to Southpoint Baptist for their hospitality in allowing us to use their facility. David will follow up with church.
