Notes from Secret Woods Homeowners Association Meeting
Date: July 1, 2013
Board Members Present: David Theus, Mark Wnuk, Dan Flynn, Sharon Snow, and Mark Lemmenes. Also, Byron DeLong was present.
Order of Business: The meeting was opened up by discussing local opportunities to assist in planning and neighborhood/Jacksonville improvements. Discussion for approval of the 2013-2014 year budget was tabled until the August meeting.
Old Business: There are 2 homeowners with outstanding annual dues. A repayment plan has been established for 1 homeowner. (David) A lien is being placed on the other homeowner’s residence. (David)
New Business:
Landscaping: Discussion took place about the leaning brick structure at the back entrance. Decision was made to wait since the tree next to the post cannot be removed. Audit of financial records will be completed in July. (Rob)We have new neighbors at 3157 Chapelwood Lane
Miscellaneous: Discussion on pool proximity cards to replace the keys has been tabled to a later date.Plans are in place for the July movie night at the pool.
A motion was made and approved for $850 to replace filters and the autofloat at the pool. The lock, hasp & electrical work were also discussed.
The August SWHA Board meeting will be at Dave’s house.
