Date: September 10, 2013
Board Members Present: David Theus, Dan Flynn, Mark Wnuk, Mark Lemmenes, Jamie Montgomery, Sharon Snow.

Order of Business:
Financial Reports were emailed by Rob Hagan. No questions or discussion took place concerning the reports.
Old Business:
Accountant’s review of financial date for FY13 was completed and distributed to the board three months late.
New signs – Dan has approved the pool rules and tennis court sign with Sign-o-Rama. The signs should be ready this month. (Dan)
Pump Repair – The repairs on the pool pump have been completed. (Dan)
Replace pool light – This is in progress. The pool company informed that a transformer may be needed as well as other items may come up during the repair. Dan will coordinate approvals. (Dan)
Tree removal – Two dead trees have been removed near the front pond. (Mark L.)
New Business:
Luminaries – Mark W. will order bags & candles. Jamie will order sand. Date will be chosen as we get closer to the event for putting the house packages together. (Mark W. & Jamie)
House ‘Judges’ for Christmas will be needed. (David)
Architectural Committee – Visited a house on Bent Creek lane and provided approval to replace & upgrade an existing rear porch. (David & Mark L.)
Pool Sprinklers – Replaced certain sprinkler heads and fixed zones. Work completed by Houlihan Territory. (Dan)
Pond fountains – needed to be reset. Jamie located the two timer boxes and reset the timers. (Jamie)
Pond Scum – Jamie contacted Lake Doctors about the algae at the pond but the company would not attend to the problem because the HOA has not paid the most recent bills. The bills were paid and the situation at the ponds is being attended too.
Miscellaneous and Violations:
A complaint was received about the house at 3154 Chapelwood Lane. Gravel has been placed in the backyard which has altered the flow of water causing unusual flooding for homeowners on the street. A letter will be drafted and mailed to the homeowner and tenant.
Special Item:
Reassignment of board positions – After a long discussion of financial problems, a motion was made and seconded for reassignment of the treasurer position. The motion passed with a 5 to 1 vote. David Theus submitted his resignation in writing from being the President of the Secret Woods Homeowners Association. The resignation was accepted by the board members present. A motion was made and seconded as follows. The office of the President is currently vacant, Dan Flynn remains as the Vice President and will be the Acting President, Mark Wnuk remains as the Secretary, and David Theus was elected as the Treasurer for Secret Woods Homeowners Association. The motion passed with a 6 to 0 vote.
Next meeting will be on October 7th at Dave’s house.
