Board Selects New Lawn Care Provider

Come January, That Lawn Care LLC will be taking over the lawn care of the neighborhood’s common areas. That’s one of the items in this month’s board minutes.

Board Meeting – Monday, December 6, 2021 Time: 6:30

MINUTES

1. Certify Quorum-certified: Skip, Sallie, Rebecca, Dan, Rick, and Ramses
2. Call to Order- Called to order at 6:32
3. Approval of Previous Minutes-approved
4. Financials
   400. Report: Matt sent financial documents to board. Everything is paid and up to date. Matt is working on getting a credit for a JEA bill that was abnormally high due to an irrigation issue. The new JEA bill is around $400.00 which is normal.
5. Old Business
   1. Sallie -Pool: DOH, CM, ASP update- Classic Marcite says that all of the work on the pool has been completed. We will check to see if the HOA has been billed for the remaining balance. The DOH came for a surprise inspection, and the pool passed! Hooray!
   2. Dan – Update pool furniture and umbrellas. The umbrellas ordered have not been received yet. Production is taking longer than expected.
   3. Speed humps– Rebecca has been in contact with COJ department of traffic engineering. A traffic engineer will be visiting the neighborhood to determine if it is eligible for a 4-way stop. Please continue to obey the posted speed limit of 20 mph. Thank you!
   4. Lawn Service: Board voted and approved to hire Look at That Lawn Care, LLC to replace our current lawn care provider. Cost will be $575.00/monthly. The new company will begin in January of 2022.

6. New Business
   1000. Lights: The breakers keep tripping on the lights around the pool/neighborhood. A new starter kit is needed to get the mercury vapor lights working. Skip to get an estimate from American Electrical to fix the lights. Motion approved to spend up to $1000.00 on electrical work around the neighborhood.
   1001. Sprinkler heads: Thank you to Skip for hiring the sprinkler repair company. All broken sprinkler heads have been fixed. Discussion about adding sprinkler heads on Tiger Hold Rd. and Goodnow Rd. Also, please be mindful of sprinkler heads near the front entrance/basketball court. They are repeatedly being run over. Thank you!
   1002. Ladies restroom: Thank you Skip for finding a company to repair the toilets. Sink still needs replacement. Board to discuss updating restrooms in January.
   1003. Luminaries: Saturday, December 18, 2021 with a back-up day of Sunday, December 19 in case of rain. Some homes may have already received bags and others will receive them in the coming week. Thank you to all of the volunteers that organized the supplies!
   1004. Awards for Christmas Decorations: Sallie to handle awards.
   1005. Yard of the Month: There is no recipient for December. Yard of the Month will resume in March.

7. Miscellaneous and Lot Concerns

1. Architectural Review Committee: Discussion of blue paint color that was previously not approved. The board is going to revisit this request.
