Our neighborhood ponds have suffered algae blooms and a fish kill over the years. But thanks to a move to keep them regularly treated and maintained, those issues have been a thing of the past. In this slideshow you’ll see how the ponds are treated.

Several families had items stolen from their vehicles within the past week. Secret Woods board president David Theus reports the burglars struck overnight, taking items from cars that were unlocked and parked in driveways. (more…)

At least six residents of Secret Woods, possibly more, completed the 15K Gate River Run on March 10. Congratulations to everyone who took part as a participant, volunteer or was on hand to cheer on the runners and walkers. (more…)
The Secret Woods board voted to raise the annual dues at its February board meeting while at the same time looking at savings that would be realized from scaling back the number of hours the neighborhood’s pond motors run. Get all the details in this month’s board minutes.
