Minutes of Secret Woods April 2013 Homeowners Association Meeting
Date: April 9, 2013
Board Members Present: David Theus, Ross Thompson, Rob Hagen, Jamie Montgomery, Mark Wnuk, Dan Flynn, and Mark Lemmenes.
Order of Business: Quorum certified and meeting called to orderFinancial reports were provided and read for the last 2 months.
Old Business: Health Department Requirements – Covered in the March meeting Lights at the pool – Certain security lights on the pool house and at the entrance run off of bulbs that require a ballast. By removing the ballast it is possible to operate halogen bulbs. Determination of which lights and who can complete the work is needed. Lights will be addressed as bulbs fail.
(Ross)Annual Meeting – A meeting room has been secured at Southpoint Baptist church for Monday, May 13th, from 6-9PM for the HOA annual meeting.
(David) Refreshments will be served. (Drinks – Mark W. & Snacks – Dan. Based on items needed after 4/27 party)New Board Members – Two positions on the board will be up for renewal at the annual board meeting. No volunteers have been identified.
Annual Dues – Dues are slowly being received. (David)
Chili Cook off – April 27th 4PM – 7PM This will be a chance to see the new pool surface and the new tennis court. (Prizes & Sign-up sheet – David, Supplies – Ross & Dan, Music – ?)
Paladin Alliance LLC – Decision was made in the March meeting not to pursue. (Mark W)
Fountain Timer – A motion was made and approved in the March meeting to spend up to $200 to replace a fountain timer that has failed. The replacement will be coordinated with lake doctors. Completed (David-Payment, Jamie-replacement)
New Business: Landscaping – A motion was made and approved to spend up to $1200 to maintain trees in the neighborhood. (Mark L.)Audit of the financials by a certified accountant in preparation for the annual meeting is being undertaken.

(Dan)2013 Report of SWOA to the state – Rob completed and sent to the state.Fence Issue – Discussion took place about vandalism to the fence.Miscellaneous:Discussion took place about possible violations in the neighborhood.
