June 2013 Secret Woods Homeowners Assocation Minutes
Meeting Date: June 3, 2013
Board Members Present: David Theus, Rob Hagen, Jamie Montgomery, Mark Wnuk, Dan Flynn, Sharon Snow, and Mark Lemmenes.
Order of Business: Quorum certified and meeting called to order. Financial reports were provided for the last 2 months. Discussion took place about a refund for tree removal as well as looking into removing a dead tree in the neighborhood. (Rob) Old Business: There are 7 homeowners with outstanding annual dues. A $50 late fee is now due.
(David) Two additional benches for the pool area need to be purchased and the original amount was amended and approved up to $450.
(Dan)New Business: The vendor who cleans the bathrooms will be contacted about the trash bags at the curb.
(Rob) Audit of financial records will be completed in July. (Rob)Discussion took place about security for the pool pump enclosure, float, and filters. This will be discussed again next month.
(Dan) Discussion took place about replacing key entry to the pool house and bathrooms with proximity cards. Estimated cost is approximately $8,000. No vote or decisions were made concerning the topic. (Dan) Night at the movies was discussed for Saturday, July 6th at 8:30 PM. A motion was made and approved to spend $50 for refreshments. Additional information will be posted at the bulletin board as we get closer to the date
(Sheri Moorhouse) Miscellaneous: Gate latch is needed for the tennis court latch and $45 was approved for the repair.Ants are coming through the new tennis court service. Ant spray will be applied.
(Dan) A motion was made and approved to provide a nominal donation to South Point Baptist Church in the amount of $100 for the use of their facilities for the SWHA annual meeting. Next SWHA Board meeting is July 8, 2013
