How to PROPERLY set out your garbage


Many of us have been putting our garbage cans too close together for the new collection trucks. As a result, the driver has to get out and re-position the cans before the arm can pick up a can and dump it. This brief video shows how it’s done. When setting out your garbage be sure to set the cans at least three feet part. The handle should always be facing you as opposed to the street. For more information on garbage pick up click here.

Board proposes ‘Day of Quiet’ on Sundays, mails out annual dues

The Secret Woods board is proposing an amendment to the neighborhood covenants that frowns on homeowners doing any outdoor work on Sundays that involves mechanical devices that emit noise. The proposed amendment would also prohibit “offensive activities” which “may become a nuisance or annoyance to the neighborhood.” Continue reading
