The new pool keys are in. Each family is entitled to one key. John Loving, 7429 Secret Woods Trail, is handing out the keys. If you need John's phone number he listed in the resident directory. If you do not know John, please bring along a picture i.d. when picking up your key. You will be required to sign for your key. If the key is lost the replacement charge will be $25. A warning: these keys can NOT be copied. The old pool keys will continue to operate the bathrooms. So be sure to keep your old set as well. For more information about the pool keys refer to the April board minutes.

Calling all scouts... the 2003 Scout Blast photo gallery is now posted in the photo galleries section of SecretWoods.com. Everyone else is welcome to check out the photos as well. Pack 318 is the local Cub Scout troop for kids and families here in Secret Woods. The pack meets on Tuesday nights at 6:30 p.m. in the Greenfield Elementary School cafeteria.

POOL UPDATE - You have may noticed the pool has been low lately. The pool has a leak and the motor seized. But repairs are expected to be completed before spring break begins this weekend. The Secret Woods board approved funding Monday night, March 10, to immediately replace the motor and call in a leak doctor to pinpoint the cause of the leak. The water level has been returned to normal and the motor is scheduled to be installed before the weekend.

MALLARD DUCKS IN LAKE In the last week you may have noticed a pair of mallard ducks in the large lake. They are very vocal as they swim and feed. Hope they stay for awhile. Mary/John Loving

The neighborhood workday to spruce up the common areas at the front of the neighorhood has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 22 . It's been rescheduled because the original date fell on President's Day weekend, which is a holiday for Duval County students and some workers. Volunteers should meet at 7:45 a.m. at the front of the neighborhood. Work starts promptly at 8 a.m. A pizza lunch will be provided. Neighbors should bring rakes, shovels, trimmers, weedwackers and hedge clippers. The neighborhood board will supply garbage bags.

Mark your calendars – There will be a neighborhood workday on Saturday, Feb. 15 from 8:30am-12:30pm. Neighbors will be gathering at the front fountain to plant fresh shrubbery, fix-up the fence, pick-up garbage, etc. A sign-up sheet will be posted at the mailboxes.
