The Secret
Woods April 14 board meeting was called to order at 6:34 p.m. by
Board President Joe Miller in the conference room of the YMCA on
Belfort Road.
The following board members attended: Bill
Bortzfield, Joe Miller, Tom Bozak and Horst Pophal.
Resident Carol Bozak also attended.
The meeting was opened with the reading of the minutes.
Joe noted that the March 24 meeting mentioned in the minutes had
to be cancelled.
He also noted that the annual homeowners meeting has been postponed until
Monday, May 19.
Then an accounting report was given.
Joe said the April 5 workday was a big success. 83 bags of
debris were collected.

is announced the board will decide whether to pursue switching carriers.
Earlier State Farm had announced it was canceling the neighborhood's
coverage. Estimates from other companies were running triple State Farm's
current rate. Joe warned that State Farm is also planning a sizable
increase.
Because the board does not yet know what the final cost of insurance will run
it was decided to hold off on mailing out the annual homeowner dues
notice.
Horst Popal announced the pool leak company has investigated the pool
and found that there was no leak. The water level was set
too high, triggering too much drainage. It has since been
readjusted by Portofino Pools. The board also approved money to
finish repair on the water supply running from the street to the pool.
Joe also announced that estimates are being obtained for new
tile in sections of the pool bathrooms and the pool entryway.
