After Annual Meeting

MINUTES

  1. Certify Quorum: Certified. Laurie, Rebecca, Kim, Carty, Sandy, Skip, and David
  • Call to Order: 8:08 p.m.
  • New Business:
  • Election of Officers: Laurie to stay on as President for a one-year term. She will complete three total years on the board. Laurie to ask Linda to stay on the board and train a replacement treasurer.
  • Approval/Denial of Lot 40 ARC request: discussion. Lot 40’s request approved.
  • Discussion of Lot 115 request for waiver of Initiation Fee: discussion. Lot 115’s request for waiver is denied.
  • Discussion of Fountain estimates for Pond #1: Pond 1’s fountain is not working. A new cable will cost $1200. The board is waiting on an estimate for a new fountain. The cable is just a bandaid for a larger problem. Pond 1 discussion to be continued at the June meeting.
  • Mulch and cleaning:  The cost for the mulch is $10/bag for 20 bags. Discussion of cleaning out the dead area by the pond and how much mulch is actually needed. Motion approved for spending up to $300 to clean out the dead area. Mulch and fertilizer for the azaleas will be discussed with James.
  • Increases: Discussion about increasing dues 10% for the next several years because of rising costs. Also, discussion about renegotiating contracts: pool company, insurance, etc. to save money.
