	Neighborhood News Date: November 11 Plans for 2009 Secret Woods Luminaria finalized The Secret Woods board has finalized plans for our neighborhood's annual luminaria and there's an update on getting the algae problem in the Secret Woods Drive pond under control. Get the details in this month's board minutes. Date: October 18, 2009 Date for annual chili cook-off set Mark your calendars. The 2009 Secret Woods Annual Chili cook-off will be November 14 from 4 to 7 p.m. For more details and the rest of this month's neighborhood news read the RadioJax at Jacksonville.com. The Internet radio station programmed a party mix for our neighborhood, complete with Secret Woods facts and shout-outs throughout the afternoon. Skip Cooney kept everyone fed and happy with his grilling expertise. Shon Graham, David Hargnett and Beth Reiney also deserve special thanks their help in making the party a success. Marianne Pophal was on hand to take photos. Watch for her images coming soon to the Secret Woods Website. Even Gator fans were covered. Beth and Joe hooked up a big screen TV and ran cable so no one would miss the Gator's 23-13 win over Tennessee. Thanks to all the neighbors that brought side dishes and our hard working neighborhood board for planning the party and the garage sale. Speaking of the board, the September minutes are now posted. Date: August 15, 2009 Board agrees to accept advertising The Secret Woods board agree to be accepting advertising from residents for the neighborhood Web site at its August meeting. Plans were also finalized for the September 19th garage sale and pool party. Get all the details by reading the monthly minutes. Date: July 18, 2009 Fountains, advertising and other neighborhood news The June and July minutes have been received and there's a lot to catch up. Among the highlights: The board is looking into obtaining a contractor for the ponds and several social events are being planned. Get the full story here. Date: May 16, 2009 Neighborhood votes on board members at annual meeting Secret Woods residents gathered Monday night at Southpoint Baptist Church for the annual homeowners meeting.
