The Secret Woods Homeowner’s Association Board meeting was held on March 20, 2006   at “The Grill” restaurant on Bowden Rd.   The meeting was called to order at 6:30 PM . With Sallie Wnuk presiding.  Sallie, Pat Parish, Mary Loving, Linda Evans and Wayne Williams were the directors in attendance.  Bill Bortzfield was absent.  Association members Bonnie Cowling, Byron Delong and John Loving also attended.

The minutes having been read by all directors in attendance on-line were approved.

The Treasurer’s report was given by Pat Parish and was approved.  Questions were raised concerning a rate increase by Portofino for their regular maintenance.  Also in question was their level of quality, so new bids for this service will be sought.

Under Old Business it was noted that the Directory for the neighborhood has been updated with the help of Bill Champion.  Also under Old Business, the Annual Meeting will be in early May and the Dues Letter and Meeting announcement will be mailed in early April. 

The fence removal and installation will be handled by the fence contractor.  The three columns will be dismantled and disposed of by our volunteers in April. 

Under New Business it was noted that the dues have been increased to $300 per year which represents a $25 increase.  Also under New Business it was noted that the main pond had further repairs made to the pump/filter system.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:15 PM
