SECRET WOODS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

MONTHLY MEETING, MAY 22, 2006

ATTENDING: Pat Parrish, Jackie Friedman, Wayne Williams, Katherine Frazier; Dale Elzie

The meeting convened at 6:30 p.m.

Election of New Officers:

First Vice President: Jackie Friedman

Second Vice President: Katherine Frazier

Secretary: Dale Elzie

Treasurer: Pat Parrish

Treasurer’s Report/Dues Collection:

As of this meeting, there are 30 homeowners who have not paid their dues. The deadline is May 31, 2006. There is a $50.00 late fee. A reminder notice will be placed on bulletin board.

Year End Financial Report: The annual report will be post by next meeting via the bulletin board and Secret Woods home page.

Old Business:

Ballot/Draft of Letter (for increase of the initial capital contribution - initiation fee): The letter was drafted by Wayne Williams and, after two minor revisions, was approved by the Board of Directors. This letter and the ballot will be mailed to all property owners and will be collected by the block captains. A list of block captains will be posted on the bulletin board. The proposal, in order to be approved, must be approved by 75% of the property owners. The original proposal came from the floor at the annual Secret Woods Homeowners Association meeting.

Pool Party: The block captains are planning a pool party for Saturday, June 10, 2006. The announcement will be posted on the bulletin board.

Pool Chairs: A search for new pool chairs has been conducted. The purchase of 10 new chaise lounges was approved. Estimates of 10 pool chairs is continuing. These will be purchased prior to the June 10^th Pool Party. Cost for all is not to exceed $2500.00. The cost of the chaise lounges is about $68.00 a lounge and will be purchased at Sam’s Club.

Grill: Estimates are still being obtained.

Concrete Tables: Jarmon’s has been approved to repair or replace one table top and two benches. If a protective coating for these if available, Jarmon’s will apply this as well.

Pressure Washing: Pressure washing of the pool area was approved. Cost will be $150.00 and will be completed by May 31, 2006.

Water Fountain: The water fountain was repaired at a cost of $112.00.

Architectural committee needs male member: Dale Elzie was nominated and accepted the nomination. Ken Peterson was also nominated and will be contacted by Wayne Williams.
